About me

I have been a passionate aviation fan since I was born. It has started with collecting of diecast model aircraft more then 30 years ago. 2004 was my first visit to the spotter platform in Frankfurt and since that I am in love with plane spotting. I started pretty soon to get a DSLR Camera (a Nikon D70) and always wants the best quality for my pictures. Nowadays I am hunting for the perfect photo positions, always to get the planes ideal in frame. I am traveling all around the globe to visit new airports. My favorite country is the USA and I visited many airports there. I founded spotterguide.net back in 2013 to share my plane spotting experience with other planespotters.
